Meet Damon

Damon is the founder and director of Teencampsuk, the UK’s leading provider of therapeutic residentials for teenagers and families. With deep expertise in adolescent psychology and family dynamics, Damon has developed the Teencampsuk Transformational Framework, a proven model that helps young people reset harmful behaviours, rebuild resilience, and restore trust within their families. I am passionate about helping families, teenagers and young adults because, "I was that difficult teenager" and as a parent myself, I also had a difficult teenager. I truly believe that one size does not fit all. As we know, unfortunately, teens/ young adults do not come with an in-depth instruction manual which we can refer to in times of challenging behaviour.

Families Concerns

Damon, "Is one week really enough to make a difference?"

While short, the week is intentionally intensive—combining therapeutic structure, practical challenges and expert 1:1 input. Families regularly report noticeable improvements in emotional regulation, communication and behaviour after just 7 days with many continuing to see progress long after residential ends. For teens experiencing deeper issues then a longer period of time may be more suitable. We can also provide ongoing support.

Damon, "We're worried that our son won't engage without technology or home comforts?

" Many teens initially resist the idea of disconnecting but once immersed in the calm, structured environment they will often respond with surprising openness. Without digital distractions they begin to reflect, connect and engage in ways that aren't possible at home and this shift is often the turning point families are seeking".
