Admissions Criteria

Age: For the UK Group camps the young person must be between the ages of 12 and 17 years old for the duration of their stay.

*Young people with serious convictions/cautions will not be accepted.

For the One to One camp in the UK & Spain young people must be age from 12 upwards.

Attitude: Young people must view the camp as an opportunity and be at least willing to attend, engage and fully participate.

Medical: Teencamps-UK are not able to accept young people with medical issues that require hospitalisation or young people with a history of mental health issues which have resulted in hospitalisation.

Number of young people that have to be accepted for a UK group camp to proceed:- There will be a minimum of 2 young people and up to a maximum of 4 young people attending.

All UK group camps are held in North Wales or the North West of England and run from Sunday to Saturday inclusive (unless otherwise stated).

Payment

If you are successful in your application then the full cost of the camp (and any extras you have requested) can be paid by BACS.

Our Dismissal Policy

Teencamps-UK reserve the right, at my discretion, to remove any young person whose actions create a safety risk, impedes the operation of the camp, or puts at risk the safety of staff, volunteers or other young people on the camp and no refunds will be given..

Violence and threats of violence will not be tolerated and are causes for dismissal.

Any Criminal activity (if involving the Police or not) is a cause for dismissal.

Other dismissal offenses can include (but are not limited to) lewd behaviour, use of alcohol and/or use of illegal drugs.

In the event of any of the above it will be the responsibility of the parent(s)/ guardian(s) to arrange to collect the young person as soon as possible from the camp location after they have been notified of the offence.

Please be aware that by submitting our online Application Form you are agreeing to pay for the programme, in full, if your application is successful and you wish to secure the place offered.

In agreeing to our terms and conditions you are entering into a legally binding contract with Teencamps-UK.

It is the parent(s)/guardian(s) responsibility to be at the advised pick up/ drop off location at the time agreed.

Termination Fee

If you want to cancel your teen therapeutic camp you must pay a termination fee.

If you cancel 71 or more days before the holiday you lose 80% of the total holiday camp price.

If you cancel 70 -61 days before the holiday you lose 90% of the total holiday camp price.

If you cancel 0- 60 days before the holiday you lose 100% of the total holiday camp price.

You must advise us by email in the event that you wish to to cancel and terminate your camp place.

Important note:- Any deposit is non refundable.

Once your booking has been cancelled you can expect to receive a cancellation email within 7 days.

If we change or cancel your programme.

Please note: we reserve the right to cancel your programme at any time if we feel it is necessary to do so.

Although it is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your camp arrangements,

occasionally however, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at

any time.

Consent Form

For Legal reasons, Parents/ Guardians will be required to sign an electronic Consent form and return this to us, by email only, before a young person is able to attend a camp. If we do not receive the form then your child will NOT be able to attend the camp.

Teencamps-UK reserves the right to determine which young people we feel will benefit

from attending a camp within our terms and conditions.

Teencamps-UK may change any aspect of this site or its content, including the availability

of any features, information, price or other content, at any time without notice.

The information and prices on this site are not 'live' and are updated from time to time.

Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of all information and prices but, regrettably,

errors do occasionally occur.

This Site is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis.

We do not accept any liability in respect of your inability to access or use this

site at any time or for any interruption in that access or use, or for any failure to complete

any transaction.
